Yes. Exalt currently operates a fleet of 7 buses that are used daily to transport students from all over central Arkansas. The school employs a spoke and hub system where parents meet the bus at a central location in their area.

Why does Exalt have a longer school year than most schools?

Exalt operates on a longer school year that typically begins at the end of July and runs through mid-June. This calendar is an integral element of our school model.

Traditional school calendars are designed around planting and harvesting seasons, which is no longer applicable to the majority of students and is detrimental academically. The term" summer slide" was is common in education because it is common knowledge that students forget a lot of what they learned during the summer break. This "slide" requires weeks or even months of review to at the beginning of each school year before they can begin covering grade-level material.

Exalt students do not experience this regressions due to our shorter summer, allowing them to begin learning new material at the very start of the school year.

Exalt appreciates your assistance in helping us keep all students safe while on our campus.

Discipline philosophy

Exalt employs a positive behavior system that publicly celebrates students for desirable behavior and privately corrects undesirable behaviors. Rather than shaming students into compliance, Exalt operates on the belief that children thrive when rewarded for doing the right thing. These rewards come in the form of public praise, reward initiatives such as events, and issuing points that are used to purchase prizes in the Eagle Store, our school positive behavior incentive store.
